Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use this website or order microgreens from Cassowary Coast Microgreens, a family business run by Mark and Kane Rowe in Feluga, Queensland. By placing an order, you agree to these terms. We have kept them short and in plain English.

1. How ordering works

• Submitting the order form on our website is a request, not a completed purchase. Your order is confirmed when Mark or Kane texts you and you agree on payment and delivery.
• Orders received by 5pm Monday go into that week's grow cycle. Orders received after the cutoff go into the next cycle.
• Because we grow to order, delivery follows our grow cycle. We will always tell you which delivery day your order is headed for.

2. Pricing and payment

• All punnets are currently $7.50 each. Prices are in Australian dollars and may change from time to time. The price confirmed in your order text is the price you pay.
• Payment is arranged directly with us by text after you place your order.

3. Delivery

• We deliver across the Cassowary Coast Region, typically on Thursdays.
• If we cannot deliver to your address, we will let you know before confirming your order.
• Microgreens are perishable. Please plan to refrigerate them soon after delivery. If you will not be home, let us know and we will agree on a safe place to leave your order. Once delivered as agreed, the order is your responsibility.

4. Changes and cancellations

• Because every order is grown specifically for you, please tell us about changes or cancellations as early as possible, ideally before the Monday 5pm cutoff.
• Once your order has been sown, we may not be able to cancel it, but talk to us and we will do our best to find a fair outcome.

5. Quality, refunds, and your consumer rights

• We guarantee our microgreens arrive fresh. If something is not right with your order, contact us within 24 hours of delivery and we will replace it or refund you.
• Nothing in these terms excludes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded, including that they are of acceptable quality.

6. Product information

• Information on this website about nutrition and health is general information only. It is not medical advice, and it is not a substitute for advice from a qualified health professional.
• If you have allergies or specific dietary requirements, please ask us about our growing environment before ordering.

7. Using this website

• The content on this site, including text, photos, and our logo, belongs to Cassowary Coast Microgreens. Please do not reuse it without asking us first.
• Please do not misuse the website, including submitting false orders or attempting to interfere with how it works.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses arising from your use of this website. Nothing in this section limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.

10. Changes to these terms

If we update these terms, we will post the new version on this page with a new date at the top. The terms in place when you order are the ones that apply to that order.
