Meet Mark & Kane Rowe

We're a father and son team growing premium microgreens right here in Feluga, Queensland. At Cassowary Coast Microgreens, we believe your community deserves access to genuinely fresh, nutrient-dense food, grown with care and delivered straight to your door.

We are a small, direct-to-community farm. No middlemen, no days sitting on a shelf, no compromise on freshness. When you order from us, you're supporting a local family and getting food at its absolute nutritional peak.

Microgreens are the early stage of a vegetable's life, harvested just after sprouting, when they're at their most nutrient-rich and flavourful. Studies show they can contain up to 40x more vitamins and antioxidants than their mature counterparts. They are, quite simply, one of the most nutritious foods on the planet.

The Science

What Are Microgreens?

Microgreens are vegetables and herbs harvested at their earliest growth stage, just after the first true leaves appear. They sit between a sprout and a baby green, and are nutritionally far superior to both.

Compared to regular greens like lettuce, spinach, and kale, microgreens have nutrients that are significantly more concentrated, with up to 40x higher vitamins and antioxidants, and richer in macro minerals (calcium, magnesium, potassium) and micro minerals (iron, zinc, copper) your body needs every day.
